Muddy Meetups – 4 week block Sept to Oct
September 15 @ 9:30 am - October 19 @ 2:00 pm£28
A fun outdoor group for preschool children and their parents or carers. These weekly groups will be held in our safe enclosed play paddock and open sided barn allowing maximum fresh air and room for social distancing.
The sessions are a great opportunity for children to visit a working farm. Our facility enables children to experience being on a farm in a safe and controlled environment. Each week the children will learn about what has been happening on the farm. We will read a seasonal or farm related story if the children want to listen (don’t worry if this isn’t your childs thing they can explore our outdoor area.). They will get to see and feed the animals in the animal paddocks and have time to play in the enclosed play paddock and undercover play area. During each term the children will have fun learning about different animals, farm machinery (including live demonstrations), farm wildlife and the life of a farmer. These sessions aim to encourage children to think about and understand where their food comes from in a fun, interactive and informal way. Adults will be offered a hot drink and home bake and children a juice and snack. We are a friendly and relaxed group.
The benefits of seeing the farm on a weekly basis gives the children a real insight into the farming seasons and where their food comes from. We aim to provide the children with what they want so if there is something your child would really like to see, please ask and we will try our best to incorporate it into our programme.
